Laura spent her childhood traveling around the South. From the bluebonnets of Texas, to the ferns of Florida and the kudzu covered woods of Georgia where she was taught to appreciate beauty in the world around her.
However, it was an adult move to Chicago where she found her love of creating beautiful environments. Holding two jobs, as a florist and a window dresser, she developed her keen eye for color, scale and texture which would lead to her commitment as a full time floral designer.
In 2005 she moved to New York City and spent the next 6 years working for some of the most accomplished floral designers in Manhattan. Managing projects ranging from intimate dinners to galas at the MoMA, still life photo shoots to Hamptons beach weddings, each event was approached with an encapsulating design idea to suit the needs of the client.
Now, after settling down with her husband in his home state of Rhode Island, she is pleased to share her love of thoughtful design and nature with the community. Drawing from a wide range of influences, Laura manages to create timeless designs to suit a variety of tastes.
